About the role

  • Provide leadership and direct supervision to Support team
  • Incident Management
  • Request and Problem Ticket Management
  • Perform critical resourcing decision based on team availability, required tasks, Priority to the business
  • Point of Contact within the Application Support Group
  • Address Critical Incident Escalation and coordinate with appropriate individuals and/or groups to bring issue to resolution.
  • Maintain system stability post upgrades
  • Assume ownership of support for new projects and implementations
  • Lead relationship calls with business units
  • Ensure operational KPIs consistently meet defined targets
  • Foster a collaborative environment where team members propose ideas and initiatives to reduce escalations
  • Enhance customer engagement while encouraging innovation
  • Conduct performance evaluations and establish clear goals for team members
  • Identify and address the skills gaps to meet business units demands

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years Oracle Applications Experience
  • A proven history of successful People Management experience
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work in a demanding user environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle E-business suite
  • Experience with gathering user requirements and understanding and interpreting requirements specifications
  • Experience with full System Development Life Cycle
  • Experience in Oracle RDBMS and UNIX
  • Coding experience in SQL, PL/SQL/Oracle Reports and Forms skills.
