About the role
- Establish a deep understanding of DeltaV, its complementary products and the infrastructure on which it is deployed
- Take ownership of deployment projects - from the proposal and design, through to site execution
- Perform maintenance tasks on customers systems
- Support the sales team to promote and sell products and services in our portfolio
- Be included in the on-call rota, ready to respond to customer emergencies
- Embrace the "Think Customer" culture and build positive relationships with our customers
- We deploy a wide variety of products from the DeltaV portfolio, with a significant Cybersecurity focus including Backup & Recovery, Patch Management, Endpoint Security, and Application Whitelisting
Requirements
- BSc in Engineering or equivalent work-based experience
- Enjoys being hands-on with installing and maintaining hardware and software on customers sites
- Is comfortable interacting with customers
- Understands computer, network and control system architectures, including Virtualisation
- Is capable of installing Microsoft Windows and DeltaV applications
- Resolves issues in a calm and structured manner
- Can write project and report documents
- Is flexible to meet the demands of our customers, which includes being willing to occasionally work offshore, unsociable hours and weekends
