Perform on-site instruction of customer personnel; write and modify maintenance procedures; quality control tests and product evaluation; provide complete and timely reports defining problems encountered and services provided
Direct personnel engaged in installation of control systems, sub-systems, equipment, or their routine modification/repair
Provide direct engineering advisory assistance to customers and liaison within the company on equipment-related issues
Cultivate relationships with internal project teams, customer project teams and contractors
Apply advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills
Provide hands-on training to customers on-site or in factory acceptance tests (FAT)
Develop and maintain good customer relations
Participate in writing, review, and revision of field/operational manuals based on hands-on work with systems
Use virtualization, simulation and remote support technologies to provide customized and efficient solutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering computer science, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Willingness to travel up to 80%, typically one week in duration (heavy travel during outage seasons)
Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, design principles, and problem-solving methods
Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills

Preferred: Co-Op or internship experience in a technical environment
