About the role

  • Research, identify, and source new potential customers within the oil & gas midstream sector
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other communication channels to generate interest
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and nurture early-stage leads
  • Hold discovery conversations to assess prospect needs, readiness, and fit for our midstream software solutions
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of early-stage opportunities in CRM
  • Partner closely with the external sales team to hand off fully qualified prospects and ensure a smooth transition
  • Track industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer challenges to help shape messaging and targeting
  • Provide regular updates on activity, pipeline metrics, and lead quality

Requirements

  • Associates Degree and 3+ years of demonstrated sales experience, direct or indirect sales
  • Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and comfortable engaging with midstream professionals
  • Ability to conduct research and independently source new prospects
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic sales tools
  • Highly self-directed, organized, and capable of managing follow-ups without supervision
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
