About the role
- Achieve business performance goals, including bookings targets for a $75M+ portfolio.
- Drive business development initiatives through demand creation and strategic engagement with key industry customers.
- Lead early technical engagement to ensure Emerson solutions are specified during Pre-FEED and FEED stages of capital projects.
- Provide strategic direction and technical/commercial guidance to pursuit teams for successful project execution.
- Develop strategies to grow revenue from the installed base, including recurring contracts, upgrades, digital engagement, and “as-a-service” models.
- Collaborate with internal partners such as Product Sales Channels, Project Pursuit Teams, and Strategic Account Leaders to enhance customer relationships and drive growth.
- Represent Emerson at technical societies, industry conferences, and trade shows to build brand visibility and strengthen market presence.
- Engage global Centers of Excellence to support proposals, project management, engineering, fabrication, and supply chain activities.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Relevant strong experience in sales leadership and business development, including key account management and capital project pursuit within large, matrixed organizations.
- Experience with complex sales scenarios for multiple parties.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
