About the role
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for software development workflow improvements, tools, and AI integration initiatives across R&D.
- Lead AI-assisted development initiatives including code review automation, and AI-powered development tools integration.
- Architect and implement AI solutions for software development workflows, including internal chat enhancements, MCP server integrations, and template-based chat deployments.
- Develop AI adoption strategies for software development efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI tools into existing Azure DevOps workflows and development ecosystems.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using AI for code security, automated testing, and development best practices.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on AI tools, modern development practices, and workflow optimization.
- Stay current with AI and LLM landscape trends to inform technology strategy and tool selection.
Requirements
- BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and modern CI/CD practices (preferred)
- AI development experience (preferred)
- Understanding of AI and LLM landscape, including tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar platforms, as well as experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, knowledge base integration, and proficiency in prompt engineering (preferred)
- Experience with chatbot development, MCP servers, and AI tool integrations (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or experience in full stack web development (preferred)
