About the role
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper approvals and documentation
- Prepare and execute weekly AP payment runs (ACH, checks, wires)
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
- Apply customer payments and maintain accurate AR records
- Monitor AR aging and support collections efforts
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly
- Maintain clean supporting schedules for cash and clearing accounts
- Support month-end close activities through the completion of recurring journal entries
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support role
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in a services-based or professional services organization
- Familiarity with month-end close processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- NetSuite experience (preferred)
