About the role

  • Coordinate control system planning, installation, programming, and commissioning
  • Develop and program a written sequence of operations based on mechanical drawings
  • Lead and schedule commissioning efforts
  • Actively participate in LEED commissioning and coordination meetings
  • Understand the design of mechanical equipment and systems
  • Design and implement complex electrical control circuits
  • Provide solutions for energy-saving opportunities and potential scopes of work for control implementation
  • Perform training for Systems Engineer I and II.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience
  • 10 + years of direct automation experience with control systems and programming required
  • Working knowledge of at least three HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, Distech, JCI or Andover)
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Ability to interface with customers at a supervisory and management level
  • Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
