About the role

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts (including change management) and overseeing contract execution
  • Claim management, including negotiations with clients and contractors
  • Preparation of contract-specific risk analyses and assessments
  • Managing and controlling projects in coordination with the technical project management
  • Restructuring, management and control of distressed projects
  • Project execution-related controlling, including developing solutions for construction-related and contractual issues in specific projects
  • Contributing to the preparation of cost estimates
  • Support during procurement processes
  • Establishing and implementing effective commercial project management practices and developing efficient cross-project collaboration.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
  • Knowledge of contract law
  • Knowledge of the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and the BGB (German Civil Code)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Structured thinking and an independent, proactive working style
  • Negotiation-level German; English skills are an advantage
