About the role
- Responsibility for a complete sales area of the Elmer Group, consisting of five branches
- Lead the sales team to achieve company targets
- Plan, control and implement all sales activities
- Direct reporting line to executive management
- Coach employees to support their development
- Market and competitor analysis
- Manage selected key accounts and lead negotiations
- Acquire new customers and new target groups
- Organize and support supplier visits
- Personnel deployment planning and conduct personnel and development discussions
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree, e.g. in Business Administration, with relevant professional experience; or a completed commercial apprenticeship with substantial relevant work experience
- Strong overall commercial/business acumen
- (Initial) leadership experience
- Professional experience in strategic sales in the trade sector, ideally in wholesale/three-tier distribution
- Technical affinity and willingness to learn the specific requirements of the building services (SHK) sector
- Ideally you already have a network in the SHK industry
- Strong negotiation skills, communication and presentation skills, assertiveness and personal resilience are essential
- Unquestionable team spirit and flexibility for the interface function with various departments and business partners
- Excellent German skills (business fluent in spoken and written)
- Very good Excel skills and proficiency in common MS Office applications
- Ideally experience with SAP and Salesforce
