About the role

  • Drive new and existing business development and exceed assigned revenue targets in the hospital and health system segment.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, utilizing strategic account planning and territory management.
  • Execute full cycle sales activities including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing deals.
  • Engage senior hospital and health system leaders to understand business needs and craft tailored solutions.
  • Lead solution-oriented discussions that align ELLKAY’s interoperability and data solutions with customer objectives and ROI.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver compelling value propositions and smooth transitions from sales to implementation.
  • Provide market and customer insight to inform product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent ELLKAY at industry events, conferences, and trade associations relevant to hospital and health system buyers.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of healthcare interoperability trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory drivers.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in account management, sales, customer success, or related roles within healthcare IT, hospitals and health systems.
  • 3–7 years of experience working with Canadian healthcare organizations, ideally hospitals or health systems (may overlap with total experience).
  • Strong experience engaging hospital and health system customers.
  • Proven success in complex solution sales with a history of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent consultative selling, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data, interoperability, or enterprise health IT solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote/hybrid environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with provincial health authorities and Canadian hospitals.
  • Must be located in the United States and authorized to work there.
