About the role
- ELLKAY is a nationwide leader in health care data interoperability delivering innovative solutions that support the data migration needs of all members of the healthcare ecosystem. Role leads the product marketing strategy for the LK Opera family of products, ensuring clear market positioning, effective go-to-market execution, and adoption across five customer segments. BASE (first 6–12 months): Drive success of our interface engine in the small hospital market, ensuring adoption, positioning, and measurable impact. GROWTH (year 1+): Lead the launch of our next-generation interface platform into the large hospital, payer, and lab markets. FUTURE (long-term): Drive the marketing and positioning of the platform’s expanded capabilities, ensuring strong differentiation, broad market adoption, and clear value across all five customer segments. Key Activities Develop detailed market profiles and conduct positioning and financial analysis to inform strategy. Create and maintain sales enablement materials, including value documents, competitive intelligence, and messaging frameworks. Design and execute go-to-market strategies for interoperability products and launches. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to establish clear strategic objectives. Partner with product managers on gap closure plans and growth strategies to expand market opportunities.

- Expertise Product Marketing: Own messaging, positioning, and value propositions for complex healthcare technology solutions. Go-to-Market Strategy: Design and execute product launches, segmentation strategies, and demand generation campaigns. Market & Financial Analysis: Lead market opportunity sizing, customer segmentation, and financial modeling to inform strategic decisions. Experience Healthcare Interoperability: Hands-on understanding of standards, workflows, and market dynamics across hospitals, payers, and labs. Sales Enablement: Create effective tools, value documents, and competitive battlecards that empower sales teams. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to align objectives and deliver results. Exposure Healthcare Technology, SaaS, and Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with core technology models that underpin modern interoperability solutions. Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: Awareness of emerging applications and their implications for product positioning and competitive dynamics. How to Stand Out Previous product marketing or strategic planning experience within a health system, large physician practice, or health IT vendor. Demonstrated history of driving successful product positioning and delivering measurable financial results at scale across multiple markets or product lines. A well-formed perspective on the healthcare interoperability market, with clear opinions on where the industry is heading. Deep understanding of regulatory shifts and market drivers in the U.S. and other geographies, with the ability to translate them into marketing strategy. Skilled in applying strategic planning and positioning frameworks — including disruption theory and blue ocean strategy — to differentiate products in competitive markets. Standout candidates may hold advanced degrees such as an MPA, MHA, or MBA with a healthcare emphasis, reflecting both business and industry depth. Proven success leading disruption or replacement market programs.
