About the role
- Work closely with the product manager and designers to build new and key features for Carousell on Android that power the growth and success of buyers and sellers.
- Analyze and optimize performance and reliability of the Android app by working closely with your Android teammates.
- Write clean, modular and functionally correct code with unit tests.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality code culture.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Participate in team rituals and contribute to a continuous integration environment.
- Document code and procedures.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of iOS development and familiar with Swift programming language.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
