About the role
- Implementing, developing, and maintaining the Epic system and associated third-party systems
- Provide on-call support, interact with clients, and ensure compliance with software lifecycle standards
- Perform system build and configuration to improve processes and promote patient safety
- Manage projects effectively and follow project management principles
- Create and maintain thorough documentation and develop test scripts
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, end users, and colleagues
Requirements
- Required Certifications in Epic Prelude AND Epic Cadence
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
- Experience as analyst implementing and testing vendor packaged software applications OR healthcare operational experience in area of application preferred or required depending on Analyst level
- All analyst levels require prior Epic experience (end user or analyst)
- Epic Application Analysts 2-4 require current Epic training status (certification, accreditation, and/or proficiency) in primary application required
- Active vendor training status required
- Strong experience as analyst with expert knowledge and experience in leading system analysis with special emphasis on system methodologies, projects management and business process reengineering related to information systems required
- Experience in a healthcare setting required
- Must be able to communicate frequently and effectively with others verbally, in writing, and by virtual meetings (including camera).
