About the role
- Identification of the key customers within defined accounts and development and maintenance of empathetic, sustainable customer relationships
- Conducting competent specialist conversations according to VBS (value-based selling) with oncologists and gynecologic oncologists (retail, hospital) and supporting selected oncology nursing staff
- Supporting network management in the territory with respect to special accounts, focus areas and queries
- Analyzing and actively managing relationships and interfaces between physicians, hospitals, medical care centers (MVZs) and other relevant accounts in the territory
- Bringing relevant stakeholders together within the network to create synergies and generate added value for all parties
- Taking a holistic view of managed accounts, considering their roles, connections and interactions within the regional care environment
- Implementing the sales and marketing strategies of the business unit
- Establishing and continuously developing strategic analyses of managed accounts (including SWOT analysis, patient flow, potential analysis, and network and relationship structures)
- Building on existing access routes and developing and implementing new access channels to key decision-makers — face-to-face as well as virtual — using a customer-specific multi-channel approach
- Developing and implementing customer- and network-oriented contact pathways to achieve optimal frequency via the most appropriate channels
- Explaining health policy contexts, including billing and care structures
- Independently conducting training and continuing education events
- Close, trust-based collaboration within the team and active coordination with adjacent functions
Requirements
- Certified pharmaceutical sales representative (Pharmareferent) or scientific education (ideally a university degree)
- Several years of professional experience as a successful pharmaceutical sales representative, ideally with sales experience in the oncology indication
- High professional and social competence and enjoyment of strong teamwork
- Independent thinking and acting, reliability and trustworthiness
- Clear sales ambition and very strong skills in value-based selling
- Experience and demonstrable success in Account-Based Selling
- Ability and knowledge to advise oncology customers competently on health policy and care-related topics
- Interest in network-oriented relationships and the ability to identify and develop relationships in a structured way
- Willingness to develop and implement new access opportunities via multi-channel approaches
- Confident use of iPad, Veeva and MS Office
- Languages: Good spoken and written English
- Mobility: Class B driving license and willingness to travel within the territory
