💰 $40 - $65 per hour

About the role

  • Overseeing utility operations to meet the Foundry’s needs effectively
  • Ensuring the safe and uninterrupted generation and distribution of utility services
  • Directly supervising operators including hiring, training, coaching, and development
  • Engaging in safety initiatives and quality compliance
  • Maintaining a state of inspection readiness for equipment and facilities
  • Collaborating with other Supervisors, Process Teams, and Operators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Supporting communication between shifts and functional teams
  • Managing operational excellence and productivity regarding utility systems
  • Providing leader-led training to qualify employees to operate utilities process systems
  • Developing performance management plans for operations personnel

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
  • Ability to set expectations and to monitor results
  • Willing to respond to call-in and scheduled overtime work
  • Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs
  • Must be able to withstand exposure to temperature variations while performing work outside in winter and summer weather conditions
  • Bachelor’s or associate Degree in science, engineering, or technical field (additional preference)
  • Previous experience in utility operations or directly supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation (additional preference)
  • Leadership experience (additional preference)
  • Skills in providing/receiving feedback and creating employee development plans (additional preference)
  • Basic computer skills (desktop software) are required (additional preference)
  • Understanding of FDA guidelines and cGMP requirements (additional preference)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills (additional preference)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests (additional preference)
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to train and mentor others (additional preference)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (additional preference)
  • Ability to work with a team, make independent decisions, and influence diverse groups (additional preference)
  • Ability to instill teamwork within the shift and demonstrate key interpersonal skills (additional preference)
