About the role
- Responsibility for developing and implementing sales and partnership strategies for our key customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within assigned key accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales and growth targets.
- Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities to maximize value for Eli Lilly and our customers.
- Analyze market data and account trends to adjust strategies and tactics.
- Deliver persuasive presentations of Eli Lilly products and solutions, highlighting their clinical and economic benefits.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Medical, Marketing, Market Access, etc.) to ensure a consistent and integrated customer approach.
- Attend congresses, professional events and trainings to stay current on products and the market.
- Ensure regular and accurate reporting of activities and account performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Knowledge of oncology and hematology and of oncology centers in German-speaking Switzerland.
- University degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of the Swiss healthcare market and its key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain complex, strategic customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Results-oriented with strong commercial acumen.
- Native German speaker with good English skills. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Independent, proactive and a team player in a dynamic environment.
- Residence in German-speaking Switzerland and willingness to work 100% in the field (driver’s license required).
