About the role

  • Responsibility for developing and implementing sales and partnership strategies for our key customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within assigned key accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales and growth targets.
  • Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities to maximize value for Eli Lilly and our customers.
  • Analyze market data and account trends to adjust strategies and tactics.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations of Eli Lilly products and solutions, highlighting their clinical and economic benefits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Medical, Marketing, Market Access, etc.) to ensure a consistent and integrated customer approach.
  • Attend congresses, professional events and trainings to stay current on products and the market.
  • Ensure regular and accurate reporting of activities and account performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Knowledge of oncology and hematology and of oncology centers in German-speaking Switzerland.
  • University degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Swiss healthcare market and its key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain complex, strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Results-oriented with strong commercial acumen.
  • Native German speaker with good English skills. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Independent, proactive and a team player in a dynamic environment.
  • Residence in German-speaking Switzerland and willingness to work 100% in the field (driver’s license required).
