About the role
- Manage and effectively undertake the maintenance of machinery and general site repairs
- Carry out planned predictive and preventative maintenance on production machinery, including pneumatic pumps, electrical motors, Z Blade mixers, mill machines and a variety of other mechanical and electrical equipment
- Respond to breakdowns as they happen to reduce downtime
- Maintain good standards of housekeeping in all production and warehouse environments
- Care, safekeeping and security of all tools and materials of the engineering store
- Supervise the onsite contractors and arrange work permits
- Work at heights to approximately 12 metres
Requirements
- Electrics to 18th Edition or good working knowledge of
- Previous proven working experience in a maintenance environment
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge
- Basic welding and fabrication
- IPAF or equivalent for working at heights
- SEMA for racking maintenance
