About the role

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QMS aligned with IATF & ISO standards (IATF16949 & ISO 9001)
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Lab quality manual as per ISO17025
  • Ensure R&D activities comply with industry standards, government regulations and safety protocols
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections
  • Validate new methods (accuracy, precision, repeatability, reproducibility)
  • Identify potential risks in R&D processes and implement preventive measures
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and traceability of experimental data
  • Ensure calibration of lab instruments
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies
  • Ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications
  • Own QMS and design control processes for NPD
  • Lead DFMEA/PFMEA, control plans, SPC, DOE, 8D and APQP/PPAP
  • Post launch share lessons learnt to the R&D team

Requirements

  • Master in Science or Engineering with relevant knowledge in quality management frameworks
  • work experience in Quality roles at R&D functions
  • Quality certifications such as lead auditor in ISO9001, IATF16949, Lean
  • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, IATF16949 & ISO17025)
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking
  • Hands on with APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, DOE, 8D
