About the role
- Provide technical support to our target markets & customers, by providing appropriate solutions to technical issues thru process troubleshooting and root cause(s) analysis to resolve customer issues on timely manner
- Participate on-site customer evaluations with primary goal of evaluation success to help drive the growth of materials and soldering business
- Regular technical visits, lead technical discussions and meetings with customers to discuss technical issues and resolutions, and help sales to create new opportunities
- Provide technical trainings, and technical presentations to external and internal customers
- Closely collaborate with other departments such as Operations, QA, R&D, and Product Marketing to provide technical solutions, to resolve product and quality issues, and maintain good product quality and services to our customers
- Prepare and submit the monthly technical reports, call reports, and evaluation reports on timely basis
- Manage technical projects which include product evaluations & qualifications, technology transfers, process solutions, new product implementation, & others
- Build relationships with customers/distributors/agents and maintain constant contact with them to grow the business
- Keep track and report technical trend update, new developments, new solutions and new requirements in the market and customers in your region and communicate the status to Product Marketing and R & D team
- Provide competitors intelligence such as collecting information about their new products, new technology, and latest evaluations status at the customers in your region
- Technical paper writing and presentation of technical papers at the technology seminars and conferences
- Liaise with responsible personnel internally on the submission of regulatory documents to customers such as ROHS, REACH SVHC, Prop 65, IMDS, CMRT, and other regulatory and technical documents.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
- Relevant industrial experience of about 2 to 5 years preferably in PCBA/SMT or electronics assembly processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Self-motivated, aggressive, initiative and results-oriented
- Good presentation & selling skills
- Good network & customer bases
- Ability to interact closely with Marketing and Sales to support customer focus and efficient operations
- Results oriented
- Ability to work well across cultures, speak, read and write English, and Thai language
- Maturity to deal with customer’s demand at times
- Adequate product and process knowledge to understand customer’s issue and provide viable solutions
- Good time management skills to balance field work and publish reports timely
