About the role
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze logistics data from various enterprise systems
- Collaborate with global teams in logistics, planning, and manufacturing to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Use large datasets to identify trends and support strategic decisions in areas such as spend analysis, supplier concentration, risk management, and cost optimization
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for transportation categories including ocean freight, air freight, and freight forwarding
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through market analysis and enterprise-wide collaboration
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service
- Monitor and manage category performance, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Maintain a repository of logistics intelligence and market trends to inform decision-making
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes related to transportation and raw materials
- Identify and mitigate supplier risks to ensure continuity of operations
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation and interpretation
- Proven ability to manage complex sourcing projects and vendor relationships
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams
- Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software is preferred
- Experience in international logistics or supply chain management is a plus
