About the role
- Impact the financial success of the business through the ability to secure new business within the Small Fleets Segment
- Drive revenue and set the course for growth of the business by managing an assigned set of clients and prospects
- Ensure that all future clients are strategically developed
- Generate new business & share of wallet opportunities with customers and prospects
- Identify needs and develop proposals with Elements value added services
- Coordinate end to end sales process for new customer onboarding (including risk underwriting process, customer visits, contract negotiation and implementation process)
- Accountable for the overall relationship management of assigned clients as the primary point of contact
- Meet clients to maintain and grow business relationships
- Oversee line renewals and legal changes
- Introduce new products & services with existing clients to enhance profitability
- Responsible for the development, planning and execution of a strategic account plan including coordinating with strategic consulting projects and business reviews
- Identify and articulate best practices within the industry
- Demonstrated analytical ability, critical reasoning and strategic thinking to generate customer loyalty
Requirements
- True hunter mentality; new business development focused
- BS or BA in business or related field required. MBA is a plus
- 3-5 years in complex B2B sales environment, preferably selling complex financial concepts/products or other intangible products/services
- Experience selling in C-suite settings and influencing C-suite decision-makers strongly preferred
- Demonstrated sales discipline and record of sales success and experience leading the successful acquisition of new business through a structured process
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time within assigned (home) territory
- Preferred experience on financial or lease services, customer-facing commercial sales position
- Critical thinking - can offer creative solutions to meet client and prospect needs
- Drive results by successfully presenting to clients and senior management
- Proven ability to effectively interact at all levels of an organization
