About the role
- Lead the full lifecycle of fleet operations—from acquisition through remarketing
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders to support strategic planning
- Partner with Element teams to deliver insights and strategies that reduce total cost of ownership
- Act as the escalation point, resolving complex issues with a solutions-driven approach
- Analyze fleet data to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements in cost
- Communicate results and recommendations through reports and presentations
- Oversee day-to-day fleet operations—including ordering, budget, licensing, driver communication, and compliance
- Ensure accurate reporting and decision-making by maintaining inventory records across systems
- Support driver onboarding and change initiatives
- Mentor Associate Fleet Managers, building their knowledge and confidence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in client account management, fleet operations, or B2B service delivery
- Demonstrated success in managing client relationships within a consultative, service-focused model
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and support others in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Proficient in using data and performance metrics to identify operational improvements
- CAFM (Certified Automotive Fleet Manager) certification is required or must be obtained within 18 - 24 months of hire
- Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, and fleet management systems is strongly preferred.
