About the role
- Delivering direct patient care, assessing functional needs, and creating individualized care plans.
- Consulting with specialists and adjusting therapy plans for optimal patient recovery.
- Designing and implementing customized therapy plans based on thorough assessments and ensuring patient and family involvement.
- Leading a team, guiding support staff, and promoting physical therapy in the community.
- Documenting evaluations, goals, treatment plans, and regularly updating records to ensure compliance with standards.
- Conducting therapy practice within defined standards of care and maintaining high-quality documentation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved program.
- Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare facility.
- Willingness to travel within the branch/office coverage area (up to 50% travel).
- A dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds —which includes assisting patients with movement and transferring.
