About the role
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
- Support meal preparation and housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Be dispatched to various client homes to ensure continuity of care
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Represent Elara Caring with professionalism and compassion in every interaction
Requirements
- Certified Home Health Aide Certificate in the State of New Jersey
- Experience providing personal care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and adaptable personality
- Ability to work in different home environments throughout your service area
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, move, and assist clients as needed
