About the role

  • Partner with Skilled Home Health leadership to assess staffing needs driven by census, coverage, and patient acuity
  • Develop and execute customized recruiting strategies to support field-based clinical roles, including RNs, LPNs, PTs, OTs, SLPs, and HHAs
  • Proactively source active and passive candidates using both traditional and non-traditional methods, including: Professional networking platforms and social media, Job boards and advanced internet sourcing, Cold outreach, referrals, and pipeline development, Local networking, career fairs, and campus recruiting, Niche healthcare and therapy-specific advertising
  • Build and maintain strong, market-specific talent pipelines across assigned territories
  • Act as a consultative advisor to home health leaders, providing insight into labor market conditions, candidate availability, and hiring timelines
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and present qualified shortlists aligned to licensure, compliance, and patient care standards
  • Coordinate structured interview processes while balancing speed, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain timely, transparent communication with hiring managers regarding requisition status and hiring progress
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience while meeting service level agreements
  • Accurately update requisitions, candidate activity, and recruiting metrics in Workday
  • Manage follow-up activities including reference checks, offer letters, and candidate communications
  • Partner with the Recruitment Coordinator to support onboarding and ensure completion of all pre-employment requirements
  • Attend local hiring events, job fairs, and industry conferences as needed
  • Promote Elara Caring’s mission, values, and commitment to quality home-based care
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, highly preferable in in Skilled Home Health, Hospice, healthcare, or field-based clinical environments
  • Proven success in recruiting licensed clinicians and filling hard-to-fill healthcare roles
  • Experience using Workday Applicant Tracking System preferred
  • Strong understanding of skilled home health operations, licensure, and staffing models
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, census-driven environment
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with field leaders, clinicians, and executive stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Up to 10% travel required
  • Valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and current auto insurance required
