About the role
- Provide finance support for a specific business problem through data analysis, process mapping, problem solving, data visualizations, and reporting
- Partner with global teams including Finance, Procurement, Central Capital Planning, and Accounting to improve Capital Planning Execution and reporting
- Use data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
- Coordinate and transform information into comprehensible data structures
- Ensure data quality to effectively support business processes and identify ways to streamline processes
- Develop new reports and dashboards based on business requirements
- Create data visualizations and communicate data contents to team members using interactive formats
- Present findings to key business partners with appropriate level of detail
- Continuously improve coordination and communication amongst sites and global finance teams
- Support management information requests and special projects assigned by management
- Support and perform testing on new systems and improvements of existing systems
Requirements
- Detailed understanding of data analytics and visualization
- Ability to critically think and problem solve
- Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Willingness to work outside area of expertise and comfort
- Pursuing a Masters/Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or analytics
- Must not graduate before August 2025
- Ability to perform data mining, data analysis, process mapping, data visualization, reporting, and data quality assurance
- Ability to partner with global teams including Finance, Procurement, Central Capital Planning, and Accounting
- Support and perform testing on new systems and improvements of existing systems
