About the role
- Answer customer questions and attend to customer concerns via chat, text, & phone
- Process refunds, replacements, and orders
- Make product recommendations and help customers track orders
- Take payment information and verify customer account details
- Maintain customer confidence and protect sensitive information
- Manage large volumes of incoming calls or open tickets
- Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction and resolve complaints
- Expedite corrections or adjustments and follow up to ensure resolution
- Refer complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation
- Explain support processes within the organization and take on new skills as needed
- Contribute to team efforts and perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Occasional travel (<5%) as required with advance notice
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have previous experience in customer support
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize & manage time effectively
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Strong verbal & written English communication skills
- Basic mathematical ability
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to understand & carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Business Process Outsourcing or call center experience
- Amazon experience (strongly preferred)
- Shopify experience
- Gladly or similar platform (Freshdesk or Zendesk) experience
- Great sense of humor & positive “can-do” attitude
- Legally authorized to work in Mexico
- Availability Oct 6, 2025 - Feb 28, 2026 and for one of the specified EST shifts
