Manage a team handling planning, analysis, and reporting of global consolidated standard cost, manufacturing variance, and other cost of sales (OCOS)
Work with global finance departments such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Cost & Inventory Accounting, Front End Finance, Assembly and Test Finance, and Business Unit Finance
Prepare forecasts every quarter, month, and week
Report to Micron’s Vice President and communicate with executive management
Explain cost trends and manufacturing variances
Offer insights to optimize cost performance using knowledge of cost drivers
Communicate insights effectively to executives and partners
Analyze variance between actual COGS vs forecast
Refresh standard cost based on planning cadence and help partners to understand the changes
Plan manufacturing variance along with standard cost refresh for each planning cycle
Capture and analyze actual manufacturing variance vs plan, partnering with accounting and manufacturing finance team

Requirements

Bachelor and/or Master Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
Deep and broad product-costing experience and knowledge of related processes and systems (including ERP-systems like SAP)
At least 15 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Controlling or related fields in the manufacturing industry (electronics manufacturing, semiconductors or other high-tech industries preferred)
At least 10 years of leadership experience
