Designer

• Build solid subject-matter knowledge through practical project work
• Plan cost-effective, sustainable, user- and environmentally-friendly buildings from a building-physics perspective
• Implement current findings from research
• Support the team with building certifications, with a focus on DGNB
• Prepare life cycle assessments (LCAs) and take responsibility for sustainable material selection, deconstructability and recycling
• Perform smaller tasks in simulation or technical monitoring as needed

• You develop integrated energy concepts for buildings, neighborhoods and municipal heat planning
• You perform simulations of thermal comfort and energy efficiency, and prepare life cycle assessments (LCAs) and environmental analyses as part of sustainability certifications
• You provide advice on low-emission materials and building-ecology aspects, as well as deconstructability and recycling
• You collaborate closely within a planning team of architects, structural engineers and building-services (TGA) specialists
• You communicate with clients, authorities and certification bodies

Engineer, Energy Design & Sustainability — Full- or Part-time

• Responsible for integrated building physics planning and quality assurance of buildings across all project phases
• Preparation of concepts, reports and verification documentation in the areas of thermal protection, sound insulation and room acoustics
• Close collaboration within a design team including architecture, structural engineering and building services (TGA)
• Communication with clients, authorities and certification bodies

Building Physics Engineer, Full-time or Part-time

Engineer – Planner of Energy Centers

• You plan and supervise energy centers for buildings, district heating and local heating networks in all service phases according to HOAI
• You design heat pumps, CHP units (combined heat and power), heat generators, H2 electrolyzers and energy storage systems, including hydraulics and, optionally, the measurement, control and regulation (MSR) systems
• You incorporate renewable energy sources such as solar, geothermal and biomass into your designs
• You prepare existing-condition analyses and optimize the operational energy performance of energy centers

Engineer, Energy Centers, Full-time

• Responsibility for integrated building-physics planning and quality assurance of buildings across all project phases
• Preparation of concepts, reports and compliance documentation in the areas of thermal protection, sound insulation and room acoustics
• Close collaboration within a multidisciplinary planning team of architects, structural engineers and building services (TGA)
• Communication with clients, authorities and certification bodies
