About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You design and oversee energy centers for buildings and local and district heating systems across all HOAI service phases
  • You plan heat pumps, combined heat and power units (CHP), heat generators, H2 electrolyzers, and energy storage systems including hydraulics, and optionally the measurement, control and regulation (MCR) systems
  • You integrate renewable energy sources such as solar energy, geothermal energy, and biomass into your designs
  • You perform existing-system analyses and optimize the operational energy performance of energy centers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in building services engineering, energy/supply engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline
  • Ideally several years of experience as a designer/planner or project manager
  • Structured approach to thinking and working
  • Team player, self-reliant, solution-oriented working style, and strong communication skills
