About the role
- Fill the role of project technical leader, designing, developing, testing and deploying technical solutions using accepted software development best practices.
- Utilize the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Power BI) to design, build and deploy business improvement solutions.
- Help plan and then execute live workshops and training sessions with various customer stakeholders to educate participants or facilitate discovery of client opportunities.
- Review existing customer Power Platform environments, understand their vision and strategy and create recommendations to modernize their environments; deploy the Power Platform Center of Excellence Toolkit and train customers on its usage and governance best practices.
- Deliver architectural design specifications across a spectrum of small to complex client engagements.
- Participate in presales meetings to understand a client’s needs and share pragmatic insights into how technology can solve challenges.
- Use historical project experience to assist in crafting project execution approaches, team composition, cost and effort estimates for statements of work.
- Author thought leadership pieces (white papers, blog posts, videos) and participate in live webinars showcasing perspectives on leveraging technology.
- Actively participate in team and company meetings, adding unique personality and way of working to the team/corporate culture.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and automation technologies and evaluate their applicability to client projects.
- Take certification exams to maintain partner status while simultaneously developing your skills.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience solving business problems for a variety of stakeholders.
- Previous consulting experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience architecting and developing custom technical solutions using Agile methodologies.
- Power Apps, both Model-Driven and Canvas application design, development and best practices.
- Dataverse integration.
- Power Automate Flows; Cloud experience required; RPA /Desktop experience a plus.
- Power Platform Center of Excellence Toolkit implementation.
- Power BI environment configurations and dashboard/report creation.
- Agent creation using Copilot Studio.
- Power Platform licensing models.
- Experience working on Azure DevOps (Version Control, Sprint/Backlog/Task Management, CI/CD experience a plus).
- Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Services (e.g., Document Intelligence, OpenAI, Vision, Language, etc.).
- Microsoft Azure tenant, resource group and service set-up and configuration.
- Preferred: Azure Machine Learning /AI modeling, Azure Storage, Data Lake, Cosmos DB or Data Warehouses, Microsoft Fabric, Development Languages (C#, Python…).
- Proven track record in adaptability, teamwork, and problem solving.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic work environments.
- Preferable experience working in a start-up or team forming environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand client business and technical needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and design and develop tailored solutions.
- Having one or more of the following certifications is a plus: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102); Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100); Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203); Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300); Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600); Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204); Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400); Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600).
