About the role
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores and themes.
- Implement new features and functionality using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Customize Shopify themes and templates to meet business and design requirements.
- Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and external systems with Shopify.
- Configure and manage Shopify store settings including products, collections, checkout, and payment gateways.
- Optimize store performance, page speed, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify themes, apps, and integrations.
- Ensure website responsiveness and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
- Work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to implement improvements.
- Maintain best practices for security, scalability, and Shopify platform standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Shopify platform development
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
- Experience with Shopify theme customization and development
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations
- Understanding of eCommerce workflows and Shopify store management
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
