Develop a FinOps Framework: Create a set of processes and best practices for cloud cost management, budgeting, and forecasting
Define financial governance policies to ensure compliance and accountability
Establish and lead a FinOps Office that meets regularly, communicates with stakeholders and tracks progress of FinOps initiatives
Develop training materials and processes for driving adoption of FinOps practices within the organization
Conduct training sessions for finance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure overall cloud cost transparency and cost optimization

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management or associated field
Minimum of 10 years of experience, with 3 years in client-facing roles delivering technical solutions
7+ years of cloud computing knowledge, including managing the procurement of cloud services and understanding cloud technologies and their financial implications
Experience providing cloud spend visibility and Cost Recovery
Experience interpreting data, identifying trends and making recommendations to improve cloud financial management
Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve cloud financial management
Experience managing a FinOps Team responsible for financial governance of a large multi-cloud environment
FinOps Certified Professional or FinOps Certified Practitioner (Required)
