About the role

  • Lead the Customer Records Backoffice, Card Backoffice, and Credit & Collections Operations, ensuring efficient, secure, and standardized execution of processes.
  • Ensure the correct execution of processes that support the product, from onboarding and customer data maintenance to critical operational flows.
  • Ensure operational stability, mitigating risks, failures and rework.
  • Ensure vendor performance.
  • Implement and maintain operational controls, audit trails and segregation of duties.
  • Work extensively on credit, collections and operational validations, ensuring adherence to policies, regulations and financial controls.
  • Support regulatory requirements and internal and external audits, ensuring compliance.
  • Manage projects with control over schedule, costs and delivery quality.
  • Map, document and improve processes (BPM), promoting efficiency, standardization and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Performance & Operational Governance to define, monitor and evolve processes and KPIs.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and develop the team, fostering a culture of accountability, organization and operational excellence.
  • Work in an integrated way with Customer Ops, ensuring a strong interface between customer experience and internal execution.
  • Maintain close relationships with Finance, Legal, Product and Technology.

Requirements

  • Degree in Administration, Engineering, Technology, Economics, Accounting or related fields;
  • Previous experience in credit and collections operations in highly regulated environments;
  • Experience in high-volume operational environments requiring strict controls;
  • Experience leading operational teams;
  • Experience in financial services organizations such as banks, payment institutions, financial services companies or fintechs;
  • Process management (BPM, flowcharts, documentation);
  • Operational metrics (SLAs, efficiency, failure rates, stability);
  • Solid understanding of credit, collections and operational financial controls;
  • Governance, compliance and operational risk management;
  • Process management tools (e.g., Bizagi, Signavio, Miro, Lucidchart or similar);
  • Task and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday, Trello);
  • Spreadsheets and analysis tools (advanced Excel/Google Sheets);
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau or similar).
