Support the planning, development, and execution of efforts to migrate on-premises Windows Server-based applications to Microsoft Azure
Develop technical and engineering plans to support migration to Azure cloud
Assess existing infrastructure, identify migration blockers, and recommend modern cloud-native alternatives
Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to re-platform, re-host, or refactor applications
Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Files, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Monitor
Perform system design and integration activities, including identity management, storage, compute, networking, and security configurations
Provide technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration runbooks, and operational procedures
Requirements
5+ years of experience with enterprise IT architecture in Windows Server environments
3+ years of experience managing enterprise Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, MECM, WSUS, and Azure
1+ years of experience designing and implementing Azure-based solutions
Experience developing comprehensive IT infrastructure automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, or automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed teams
Ability to automate the installation and operation of Windows Server-based applications and solutions
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA‑Security, GSEC, or SSCP Certification, within 30 days of hire date
