About the role

  • Drive operational excellence across delivery, resourcing, and financial management.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs across all operational functions.
  • Partner with the COO to define and execute operational strategy.
  • Oversee engagement delivery, ensuring projects are appropriately staffed and on schedule.
  • Manage the professional services financials, including revenue and utilization.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team for collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build trusted, executive-level client relationships and enhance client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in management consulting professional services, with at least 5 years in an operations leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success leading operations within a large consultancy with the ability to scale.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven experience owning key operational and financial metrics to drive decisions that improve business performance and health.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and lasting relationships with executive stakeholders - both internal and client-facing.
  • Deep expertise in resource management, utilization optimization, and workforce planning.
  • Practical experience scoping and structuring client contracts and SOWs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms such as Kimble/Kantata.
  • Deep familiarity with Agile and other delivery methodologies.
