About the role
- Oversees one or more Salesforce engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, and maintaining solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Mentors and coaches team members, collaborates with other engineering managers and stakeholders, and ensures the quality, security, and performance of delivered Salesforce solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Salesforce development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, using best practices and industry standards.
- Oversee code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications.
- Ensure compliance with internally defined and industry-standard security, governance, and performance guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members, and foster a culture of inclusion, learning and innovation.
- Collaborate with other engineering managers, product managers, business analysts, and end users to deliver high-value solutions to our customers, consumers, and users.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the Salesforce ecosystem and evaluate new tools and frameworks for future adoption.
- Supports the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role.
- Experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, integration tools, and data migration.
- Experience with managed packages and other 3rd-party Salesforce components.
- Experience with Salesforce development tools, such as VS Code, SFDX, Git, CI/CD, etc.
- Experience with Salesforce products and features, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Einstein Analytics, etc.
- One or more Salesforce certifications.
- Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Background and drug screen.
