About the role

  • Own and manage multiple aspects of multiple interrelated project workstreams independently with multiple engineering team(s) across EWS to successfully deliver cross-functional projects from inception to completion that are of a high quality (e.g., secure, testable, maintainable, low-defects).
  • Lead delivery of complex programs supporting cross-border payment flows and digital asset–enabled platforms, ensuring alignment across Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Coordinate technical and operational readiness for initiatives involving stablecoin or blockchain-based settlement capabilities, including regulatory and control requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks specific to global payment infrastructure and digital asset integrations, ensuring secure and compliant implementation.
  • Enforcing and improving EWS specific product and project lifecycle process from discovery to post deployment process in compliant with Audit, Risk and Compliance committee.
  • Report on project tracking including results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities to stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of the project as well as status reporting regarding project and program milestones, success criteria, deliverables, dependencies, and risks to all stakeholders up to and including executive leadership.
  • Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluate progress, proactively work with the project team to mitigate risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Define high level technical requirements and long-term design, work with technical leadership to drive end to end solutions, Oversee and influence technical decisions and provide technical insights to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks by developing contingency plans.
  • Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all types of audiences including CXO and directs.
  • You foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues (build consensus).
  • You collaborate successfully with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones.
  • Optimizes cross-team processes that improve engineering team efficacy and delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and status reports.
  • Own and manage multiple aspects of multiple interrelated project workstreams to ensure the overall project is resourced and budgeted appropriately and project timelines are maintained.
  • Supports the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Requirements

  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree in business and/or Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience managing large complex projects in a technical or software development environment.
  • Experience delivering projects within payments, cross-border financial systems, or other regulated distributed platforms; familiarity with digital asset or blockchain-enabled technologies.
  • Strong technical background and experience working with engineering or development teams.
  • Experience in financial institutions or similarly regulatory industries and/or software development processes with background in the data processing environment, application systems, and communication systems.
  • Strong team player with ability to coach/mentor others.
  • Effective relationship building and team collaboration skills leading diverse, cross-functional teams on one or more, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with ability to tailor to varying audiences.
  • Confidence and poise to present at all levels effectively.
  • Highly engaged, self-starter with ability to balance achieving results and fostering collaboration.
  • Proactive in identifying and driving process improvements within the organization driving efficiencies.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
