About the role
- Administer the support services for a project or program
- Maintain project information for project managers and directors
- Provide Configuration Management (CM) support to the SCMS CM team and projects related to the design, development, and production of complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems
- Monitor change processes to ensure updates to Technical Data Packages are implemented in a timely manner
- Implement CM processes in accordance with CM plans and industry standards
- Conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) on systems prior to establishing a product baseline
- Maintain drawings and Configuration Item data in the CM database tool
- Update drawing package changes, as required
- Support Configuration Control Boards (CCB) by compiling CCB change request data prior to the CCB
- Facilitate the CCB agenda during the meeting
- Generate meeting minutes for CCBs
- Ensure proper maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) systems
- Prepare CSA reports as required
- Track Technical Directive (TD) implementation for approved changes
- Support the establishment and maintenance of production baselines
Requirements
- Knowledge of configuration management practices
- Ability to promote the advancement of the programs supported using expertise in learning configuration management
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Associate’s degree and 4+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in a professional work environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
- Experience supporting DoD programs
- Knowledge of technical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex C4I systems
