About the role
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the assigned customer base within the business unit, leveraging strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW Surgical products
- Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with customers, surgeons, referrers and other key stakeholders within the assigned region to strengthen Edwards’ market positioning
- Drives growth within existing accounts by identifying opportunities, addressing gaps and executing sales strategies to achieve regional targets
- Develops and executes annual account and territory plans in line with regional objectives
- Performs other incidental duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related scientific field
- Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in the medical devices industry
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Strong knowledge of own products as well as competitor offering
- Solid understanding of customer organizations, healthcare systems and market dynamics
- Proven ability to assess customer needs, address objections and clearly articulate product value
- Strong influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
