About the role

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the assigned customer base within the business unit, leveraging strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW Surgical products
  • Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with customers, surgeons, referrers and other key stakeholders within the assigned region to strengthen Edwards’ market positioning
  • Drives growth within existing accounts by identifying opportunities, addressing gaps and executing sales strategies to achieve regional targets
  • Develops and executes annual account and territory plans in line with regional objectives
  • Performs other incidental duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related scientific field
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in the medical devices industry
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
  • Strong knowledge of own products as well as competitor offering
  • Solid understanding of customer organizations, healthcare systems and market dynamics
  • Proven ability to assess customer needs, address objections and clearly articulate product value
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
