About the role
- Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end SEO strategies across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to improve organic search visibility and ranking across major search engines.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities and inform content strategy decisions.
- Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving issues related to site speed, crawlability, indexation, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and mobile optimization.
- Collaborate closely with content writers, developers, and designers to ensure all digital assets are fully optimized for search engines without compromising user experience.
- Build and manage a high-quality backlink profile through strategic link-building campaigns, digital PR, and outreach initiatives.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz — translating data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest Google algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and emerging trends to proactively adapt strategies.
- Optimize local SEO presence for relevant markets, including Google Business Profile management and local citation building.
- Support paid search and content marketing teams with SEO insights to ensure a cohesive, integrated digital marketing approach.
- Develop and maintain SEO documentation, guidelines, and training materials for internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven, hands-on SEO experience with a strong portfolio of measurable results (increased rankings, traffic growth, improved conversion rates).
- Deep expertise in both on-page and technical SEO, including experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Proficiency with industry-leading SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog , and/or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and evolving SERP features (featured snippets, People Also Ask, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience conducting keyword research and translating findings into actionable content and optimization strategies.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
