About the role

  • Define and lead the overall and appropriate test strategy for the turbofan development program
  • Oversee the planning and execution of all test campaigns (component and rig testing, module and core engine performance tests, FETT, Altitude Test, certification tests…)
  • Validate data-processing methodologies and approve test reports used for design/performance/certification validation
  • Ensure alignment between Testing, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, Airworthiness and Manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engine testing within turbofan propulsion, or other similar complex engineered systems
  • Experience with civil and/or military certification frameworks (EASA, FAA, EMAR)
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing large test campaigns (FETT, endurance, certification)
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
