About the role

  • Ensure system safety and regulatory compliance throughout the engine lifecycle
  • Perform FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA along development phases and engine lifecycle
  • Define safety methodology and objectives
  • Assess failure conditions and mitigation strategies
  • Support certification safety reviews
  • Participate in accident/incident investigations

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems
  • Solid understanding of turbofan architectures and Test results analysis (including engine build-up and dressing, AGB, ECU, modules FAN/LPC/HPC/HPT/LPT/TRF/OGV…, sub-systems and their integration constraints)
  • Strong knowledge of certification rules (CS-E, FAR33, ARP4754A,STANAG, MIL-HDBK…)
  • Safety analysis FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA, ZSA and methodologies (SORA, SAIL Class, Weibull, Reliability Block Diagram, MTBF…)
  • Exposure to customer, OEMs, authorities and complex environment
