About the role

  • Provide an in-house subsystem design capability, such as test equipment in order to support the Development programs and projects.
  • Participate in design reviews in order to influence the testability, reliability, availability, maintainability and producibility of the designs and products.
  • Interpret test specifications and procedures (in both hardware and software) in order to develop and produce test equipment, tools and jigs for validation and qualification of products.
  • Gain product and design intent knowledge for industrialization and know-how transfer to form a bridge between development and production (development, integration, procurement and production).
  • Provide guidance to management as well as development projects regarding technological advancement and best practices in the product test environment.
  • Participate with the Mechatronic Engineering team regarding defining test equipment strategies, supporting the weapon integration teams and Halcon test infrastructure.
  • Lead Junior engineers to facilitate projects and perform responsibilities designated by the Engineer.

Requirements

  • At least 10-12 years of related experience in the development of Test Equipment , preferably, in the aerospace industry.
  • Working knowledge in the broad spectrum of test engineering as related to product acceptance testing and test equipment development. (NI Labview & Test Stand proficient)
