About the role
- Work with a team of economists, consultants, and senior analysts in the Schafer Group (Healthcare Economics Practice)
- Support experts testifying in antitrust, class action, and commercial disputes related to healthcare economics
- Import, process, and analyze data using SAS, Stata, and Python
- Draft technical memos explaining data cleaning and analysis steps
- Identify deficiencies in data productions and draft data questionnaires
- Review and log produced documents and depositions; extract information for analysis and reports
- Conduct research and identify relevant peer-reviewed literature
- Communicate results succinctly and synthesize complex information for presentations and deliverables
Requirements
- Rising Seniors majoring in an analytical field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science)
- GPA of 3.4 or higher
- Coursework in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, data science, or other quantitative fields
- Introductory knowledge of SAS, Stata, Python, or other statistical software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with data presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; dedicated to seeing projects through to the completion.
- Time management skills and attention to detail
