About the role
- Present and sell eCW products and services to current and potential clients
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
- Pursue new leads from cold call to close
- Follow up on new leads and referrals
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
- Prepare pricing proposals and sales contracts
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
- Work with cross-functional teams when required
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate team within eCW
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, tradeshows, and other industry events
- Lead generation: establish contact via phone and email to physician practices with the goal to schedule demonstrations of eClinicalWorks
- Execute sales campaigns to target audience
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of successful Healthcare IT sales experience
- Proven track record of generating AND closing own leads through cold calls
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
- Professional demeanor
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
- Proficiency using Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and the Internet
- Strong ability to foster meaningful business relationships
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to persuade and influence others
- Ability to present creative methods in generating and maintaining new business
