About the role

  • You ensure stable IT operations and support your team in day-to-day tasks
  • You actively contribute to the further development of our IT infrastructure by planning new solutions together with your colleagues
  • In particular, you implement automations and scripts that make processes more efficient
  • You take responsibility for a stable 24/7 operation of our systems
  • You keep our IT infrastructure modern and reliable by administering data center and office systems (almost entirely remotely)
  • You help ensure operations outside regular hours by sharing a well-compensated on-call rotation with your colleagues

Requirements

  • You have at least five years of experience as a system administrator
  • You work reliably and with a strong sense of responsibility
  • You are proficient with key tools and systems: – MS Windows Server (from 2016) – Microsoft Office 365 – IIS, SQL Server 2017 and later – PowerShell – Hyper-V or another virtualization solution
  • You are highly motivated and show initiative
  • You can design and implement complex infrastructure projects
  • You are familiar with load balancing and clustering
  • Ideally, you have experience with Linux, FreeBSD, Postfix, Bash, Perl or PHP
  • Ideally, you also have experience with storage and backup solutions as well as load balancing, OpenStack or cloud computing
  • You have very good German language skills, spoken and written (at least C1)
