About the role
- Lead business development efforts identifying appropriate prospects
- Take a leadership role representing Eastern Bank in business and community activities
- Actively identify opportunities to cross-sell other bank products and services to customers and prospects
- Review existing credit facilities and new credit applications, analyze credit quality
- Present relevant data and recommendations to the Team Leader and Credit Committee
- Maintain awareness of maturating credits, overdue payments
- Work with Portfolio Managers to ensure timely financial information collection
Requirements
- Proven underwriting abilities
- 5 plus years’ experience in commercial real estate analysis and/or commercial banking
- Formal bank credit training is preferred
- Familiarity with top tier and middle market commercial companies within the New England marketplace
- Proficient/computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
