About the role

  • Assist in the provision of legal services to the Statutory Interventions Team
  • Undertake a full range of routine and complex administrative legal case work
  • Write and submit court documents
  • Issue Penalty Notices for unauthorised absence from school
  • Liaise and work alongside the Statutory Intervention lead and wider legal intervention team

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Some experience of legal work would be an advantage
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet tight legal deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Great organisational skills
  • Accurate minute taking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and MS Office skills
